Children’s Liturgy of the Word

The Children’s Liturgy of the Word program is open to all children in grades K-3 who attend the Sunday 10:30 am Family Mass. After the initial welcome and opening prayers, children are invited to the altar for a blessing. Then, the children walk to the cafeteria for a special reading and discussion of the Gospel.

We pray, sing songs, and, most importantly, share the Gospel in a meaningful way with the children, often with special activities.

We return to the church after the Prayers of the Faithful.

The Children’s Liturgy of the Word program occurs every Sunday except for School breaks. We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help.
